That didn’t go well…

Well, Hillary beat Obama in Ohio. And Texas. And Rhode Island. Also, accross the board, as of last night, all the school levies were failing.

So, was there any good news? Yes, actually.

Ohio had a record turn out for a primary. Just proof that people do actually give a damn what happens to this country.

And…Kucinich won the Congressional Primary in the 10th District! If he can’t be president, then we need to keep him as a law maker. I’m not in the 10th disctrict, but I was watching this one.

  1. You’re still a snippy. 🙂

  2. So you’ve moved from Kucinich to Obama, eh? Not much similarity there that I see. I certainly felt that Kucinich is much closer to the values I hold dear than either Clinton or Obama. Those two are close to identical in most policy respects, but if anything Hillary is the (very slightly) more progressive of the two. I’m a bit surprised to see that you’re rooting for Obama.

  3. Oh, I’m certainly not ecstatic about Obama or anything, but I just don’t trust Hillary. I feel like her Health Care plan would do more harm than good (by binding us to a system that is already broken), and she has talked in the past about certain world leaders that she would not be willing to talk to. Obama has said that he would not take diplomacy off the table for anyone, and his health care plan, though it only helps children, is a step in the right direction.

On the other hand, I think that they’ve both been bought by certain corporate interests, so it is the case of the lesser of two evils.

    But, hey…Nader’s running independant, isn’t he? 😉

  4. Obama points out that he doesn’t accept lobbyist or PAC money, so I’d argue definitely less “bought.”

Man, I love Twee! Here are some favorites twee-ish of mine, that you may or may not have heard of: Best Fwends, I’m From Barcelona, Atom and His Package, The Unicorns, The Islands, Matt & Kim. Do you have any suggestions?

  5. I’m not here to talk politics but instead to say hello!

  6. Me too. Hiya!

At this point I don’t much care who wins the democratic primary.

    Shocking, I know.
